Description Leon Fauster 2022-11-21 21:59:07 UTC
Description of problem:

When starting thunderbird in the CLI following appears:

$ LANG=C /usr/bin/thunderbird
/usr/bin/thunderbird: line 143: fg: no job control

I would expect that the wrapper script gets executed without any "issues".

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
$ rpm -q thunderbird
thunderbird-102.5.0-2.el8_7.x86_64

Additional info:
https://git.centos.org/rpms/thunderbird/blob/c8/f/SOURCES/thunderbird.sh.in#_143

Not sure what exactly this "placeholder" should do ...

This will be fixed in the 102.6 update in few weeks.
