Description of problem:
fc6 64 bit hangs on boot with AMD FX60 / AM2, OK with Woodcrest, It hangs at 
"io scheduler cfq registered hang". You can get past this point by adding adding
 acpi=off noacpi to the boot string. The problem here is that the SATA disks can
no longer been seen.

Similar on my athlon. 
Description of problem:
System hangs after choosing installation methode (or rescue mode) after 
"isaPnP: Scanning for PnP cards..."

How reproducible:
I tryed it >10 times

Steps to Reproduce:
1. just boot

Workaround:
Switch off ACPI in BIOS "solves" that problem. But remember to switch it on 
again for other OS.
