Description Adam Williamson 2022-12-09 17:57:19 UTC
AFAICS, this package contains nothing but obsolete versions of the firmware for the bfa module which will never be used on any vaguely current Fedora. The current versions of the firmware files are in the linux-firmware package. Should we just retire this?

Comment 1 Peter Robinson 2022-12-11 13:19:23 UTC
Yep, sounds fine to me, I'd just check RHEL doesn't ship it as a sanity check. I suspect it's long unused, most exterprise swap out fibre channel pretty quickly

Comment 2 Tom "spot" Callaway 2022-12-14 14:36:25 UTC
I retired it in rawhide.
