Hey i figured out what's missing. Now I'm trying to rebuild listen with the
optional python-pygpod requires enabled. But I'm running into a problem.
I can't get the fe6 listen package to build. I'm getting Xvfb related segfault
during the build process under mock... weird.  I haven't even editting the spec
yet. I just tried to rebuild the srpm inside mock and no dice.

Can you reproduce this build issue with the fe6 listen srpm?

You don't have to rebuild the rpm to get iPod support, Listen will automatically
import the gpod module during launch if available.
If you have installed python bindings (*), Listen will recognize your iPod when
mounted. The annoying thing is that it segfaults under FC6.

I'll push an update that will fix this building issue plus some minor bugs fixing.


(*) either by using freshrpms/rpmforge libgpod + python-eye3D or any custom
package. http://darkenphoenix.free.fr/RPMS/libgpod-0.3.2-1.src.rpm
You might have to adapt the requires line depending the packages you're using.

I picked up the custom specfile from redhat bugzilla #211648 for 0.4 release but
listen doesn't see the python-gpod module on startup. I'll try again with the
url you just gave me.

Have you had any contact with the Core maintainer for libgpod?  Do you know of
any technical reason why libgpod is lingering at 0.3?

Okay using the libgpod-0.3.2-1.src.rpm  I am getting a segfault only when
my ipod is mounted. It sees the ipod, begins to pull the playlist info and the
boom.  Any suggestions?
