Hi, Yes, this change was added in tzdata-2022b. Since tzdata-2022c includes changes made in tzdata-2022b, the change is included in tzdata-2022c. As shown here, there will be no DST transitions after 2022 when tzdata-2022c or later is installed: $ rpm -qa | grep tzdata tzdata-java-2022a-1.el7.noarch tzdata-2022a-1.el7.noarch $ zdump -v Asia/Tehran | grep 2023 zdump: warning: zone "Asia/Tehran" abbreviation "+0330" lacks alphabetic at start Asia/Tehran Tue Mar 21 20:29:59 2023 UTC = Tue Mar 21 23:59:59 2023 +0330 isdst=0 gmtoff=12600 Asia/Tehran Tue Mar 21 20:30:00 2023 UTC = Wed Mar 22 01:00:00 2023 +0430 isdst=1 gmtoff=16200 Asia/Tehran Thu Sep 21 19:29:59 2023 UTC = Thu Sep 21 23:59:59 2023 +0430 isdst=1 gmtoff=16200 Asia/Tehran Thu Sep 21 19:30:00 2023 UTC = Thu Sep 21 23:00:00 2023 +0330 isdst=0 gmtoff=12600 $ rpm --upgrade tzdata*2022c*.rpm $ rpm -qa | grep tzdata tzdata-2022c-1.el7.noarch tzdata-java-2022c-1.el7.noarch $ zdump -v Asia/Tehran | grep 2023 zdump: warning: zone "Asia/Tehran" abbreviation "+0330" lacks alphabetic at start $ Thank you, Patsy |
