Description of problem:
As per tzdata-2022b release note Iran DST is included but Red Hat release notes for RHEL 7 only tzdata-2022c was released but i would like to confirm if Iran DST was included.

Hi,

Yes, this change was added in tzdata-2022b.  

Since tzdata-2022c includes changes made in tzdata-2022b, the change is included in tzdata-2022c.

As shown here, there will be no DST transitions after 2022 when tzdata-2022c or later is installed:

$ rpm -qa | grep tzdata
tzdata-java-2022a-1.el7.noarch
tzdata-2022a-1.el7.noarch
$ zdump -v Asia/Tehran | grep 2023
