.Disable swipe to switch workspaces
Previously, swiping up or down with three fingers always switched the workspace on a touch screen. With this release, you can disable the workspace switching.

Instructions on how to inhibit the touchscreen swipe to change workspace gesture on RHEL9: 1. Install gnome-shell-extension-gesture-inhibitor-40.7-4.el9 2. $ gnome-extensions enable gesture-inhibitor.github.com 2. $ gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.gesture-inhibitor workspace-switch false Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
