Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream.

Comment 1 Ben Beasley 2023-01-21 15:53:02 UTC
Obviously, we don’t want to package a pre-release, but I’ll get a PR and COPR open to start testing.

Comment 8 Ben Beasley 2023-03-12 01:30:56 UTC
Except for the two packages that still need the C++17 PR’s merged (frr and ilbc), it looks like this is ready to go for F39/Rawhide.

https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/music/abseil-cpp/packages/

I’d like to announce this update to the devel list soon. As usual, I will notify the dependent packages’ maintainers and ask them to rebuild in a side tag.

@richmattes , are you available in the next couple of weeks to merge “bump and rebuild” PR’s as a provenpackager for any dependent packages whose maintainers don’t rebuild into the side tag reasonably promptly?

Comment 9 Rich Mattes 2023-03-13 05:04:50 UTC
Yes, just email me or leave a comment here, I'll get the builds going.
