Created attachment 1940111 [details]
all hosts empty state with Manage Columns button

Comment 1 Jeremy Lenz 2023-01-23 23:59:09 UTC
not sure what happened to the original description..

In 6.13 snap 7

1. Navigate to Hosts > All Hosts

Actual: The 'Manage columns' button is visible even though there is no table. (See attachment)
Expected: The 'Manage columns' button should only be there if the hosts table has at least one row.

Verified in
foreman-3.5.1.6-1.el8sat.noarch
satellite-6.13.0-6.el8sat.noarch

When there are no hosts(*), the "Manage Columns" link is not present on the page.

(*) "no hosts" means:
1) there is no hosts table, like described in comment 0 (for example in an empty Org.).
2) looking at /hosts view as a user without "view_hosts" permissions (e.g., Bookmarks Manager role) - then it shows the "Permission denied..." page.
