Description Gaël Goinvic 2023-01-25 09:06:23 UTC
Description of problem:

Installing snapd and microk8s on Rocky Linux 8. The snapd selinux policy seems to be missing some selinux permissions. Some commands results randomly on rc -15, but retrying seems to pass sometimes.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

snapd-2.57.6-2.el8.src.rpm

How reproducible:

Install snap and microk8s with SELinux enabled.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install rockylinux8
2. Enable EPEL
3. Install snapd
4. Install microk8s
5. Enable dns addon
6. DNS Addon is not installed correctly

Actual results:
The SELinux policy does not allow snapd to work correctly.

Expected results:
The SELinux policy should allow snapd to work correctly.

Please find in the attachment the ausearch results.
