Description Richard Hughes 2023-01-27 16:34:35 UTC
Description of problem:

fwupd has over 12 patches upstream that fix various ESP detection and mounting issues -- these are needed to apply the dbx firmware update which is security critical. Backporting this many patches would not be practical and would be an untested conglomerate rather than a unit-tested package as used in Fedora.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

fwupd-1.8.11 would be the target version, to match Fedora.
