Description Anand Jambhulkar 2023-02-06 18:26:29 UTC
Description of problem:
----------------------

After switching to Legacy UI from the New UI, there is not button available on the Legacy UI page to switch back to the New UI.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
------------------------------------------------------------

Satellite 6.13

How reproducible:
----------------

Always

Steps to reproduce:
------------------

1. Go to Hosts -> All Hosts -> Click on the desired host

2. On the RHS, Click on the 3 dots -> Click on "Legacy UI".

Actual results:
--------------

The Legacy UI does not have a button to switch back to the New UI.

Expected results:
----------------

The Legacy UI should have a button to switch back to the New UI.

Additional Info:
---------------

We can switch back to the New UI by again going to Hosts -> All Hosts -> Click on the desired host method, which is kind of taking a detour. Thus, a button on the Legacy UI to switch back to the New UI would be a cool feature to have.

Jeremy,

Aside from the requested button, is there a way to return to the new UI?

Thanks!

Hi Anand,

The 'New UI' button should already be available on the legacy host details page. (See attachment illustrating its location.) Is it not showing up for you?

Hi Jeremy,

Q - The 'New UI' button should already be available on the legacy host details page. Is it not showing up for you ?

A - I can see it there now. I have tested it and it works just fine. Thanks.

Thanks & Regards,
