Description of problem:
Unicode entry via [Control]+[Shift] doesn't work anymore.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gtk2-2.10.4-4.fc6

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Text Editor.
2. Press [Control]+[Shift] and type in: 20AC
  
Actual results:
Nothing happens.

Expected results:
The Euro-sign (€) should appear.

Additional info:
Worked fine in Fedora Core 5 and before.

The hex unicode input has been changed in GTK+ 2.10. 
You need to type C-S-u 20ac now
