Description Jonathan Wright 2023-03-01 22:06:30 UTC
Please branch and build ipsilon in epel8.

If you do not wish to maintain ipsilon in epel8,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/ipsilon/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: jonathanspw>).

I can be the primary contact for EPEL (FAS: jonathanspw).

Comment 1 Jonathan Wright 2023-03-01 22:08:39 UTC
The current rawhide branch builds against EL8 successfully.

Comment 2 Kevin Fenzi 2023-03-02 00:30:53 UTC
I was thinking there was some reason we didn't want this in epel8, but I cannot for the life of me recall why. ;)

so, added you... you should be able to request the branch and build for epel8.

thanks
