journalctl log

1. Please describe the problem:

Ever since updating to kernel 6.1, i have been experiencing system hangs at shutdown, where display goes off and the light on the power button of the machine turns off but the PC doesnt fully power off because I can still hear the fans going like it wasn't a proper shutdown even after waiting for a very long time it just wont go off and i have to perform a hard shutdown where I have to press and hold the power button to power it off.

2. What is the Version-Release number of the kernel:
since updating to kernel 6.1.5

3. Did it work previously in Fedora? If so, what kernel version did the issue
*first* appear? Old kernels are available for download at
   https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8 :

4. Can you reproduce this issue? If so, please provide the steps to reproduce
   the issue below:
this issue appears to happen randomly most of the time the machine does successfully poweroff at shutdown but other times it doesnt, just hangs.

5. Does this problem occur with the latest Rawhide kernel? To install the
Rawhide kernel, run ``sudo dnf install fedora-repos-rawhide`` followed by
   ``sudo dnf update --enablerepo=rawhide kernel``:

6. Are you running any modules that not shipped with directly Fedora's kernel?:

7. Please attach the kernel logs. You can get the complete kernel log
   for a boot with ``journalctl --no-hostname -k > dmesg.txt``. If the
issue occurred on a previous boot, use the journalctl ``-b`` flag.

I have attached a system log but I personally can't spot any entries in the log that I can pin to this problem and when I compare this to previous logs I see no obvious differences

Hi,
I have the same issue. Upgraded the system (26th June 2023) from F35 to F36 and it worked. Same day upgraded from F36 to F37 and shutdown failed. Stuck on splash screen with the relevant options including shutdown and logout etc. Rebooted the motherboard etc., and again it fails at the shutdown.

I have a graphics card, but for Fedora have not installed drivers, hence using the default Fedora 37 options.

Regards,
Shadders.
