When customer is upgrading their RGW multisite cluster, they are experiencing the sync is getting broken between the sites when one site is upgraded and another one is still pending
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHCS 5.3.1 (16.2.10-138.el8cp)
RHCS 4.3.1 (14.2.22-128.el8cp)
How reproducible:
It is happening all the time
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install 2 RHCS 4 cluster
2. Setup RGW multisite between them
3. Create some buckets and upload objects into the buckets
4. Wait for the sync to complete
5. Now upgrade one site from RHCS 4.3.1 to RHCS 5.3.1
6. Create a new bucket on the RHCS 4 site and upload objects into the bucket
7. Check the bucket and its content from the RHCS 5 site, they are missing there
8. If we create buckets on RHCS 5 site and upload objects there, it is getting replicated
Actual results:
During upgrade the sync is getting broken
Expected results:
RGW multisite sync should not get impacted
Additional info:
