Description Kate Hsuan 2023-03-27 07:24:44 UTC
Description of problem:

The obex service needs to be enabled through .preset otherwise the obex service can't be enabled automatically during rpm installation. If the obex can't be enabled, the user can't send files through Bluetooth. Therefore, I would like to set "enable obex.service" to 90-default-user.preset

Would be good to reference the upstream MR that fixed this in Fedora:
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/fedora-release/pull-request/80

This is a systemic problem in RHEL:

Yes, it is different from fedora.

@sgallagh assigning this to you to fix in CentOS stream.

Hi Lisa,

I would like to get approval to submit the merge request to gitlab :)

Thank you

Giving QE ack, this is going to be covered by existing automated test.

Comment 9 Zdenek Veleba 2023-05-17 13:47:59 UTC
Pre-verification done.
enable obex.service is now in 90-default-user.preset in redhat-release-9.3-0.3
