Description Peter Ondrejka 2023-03-28 11:00:59 UTC
Description of problem:

Some Patternfly4 select menus in the REX Wizard use the "menuAppendTo={() => document.body}" option. Functionally this is not a problem, but it is a blocker for QE automation as widgetastic expects the default form (menu appended to the parent div) described here https://www.patternfly.org/v4/components/select/html. As a result, UI tests can not click on select items even though they are modeled correctly in airgun

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite 6.13

Expected results:

This bz is a request to use the default append style for the rex wizard menu as a short term solution to get the automation running

Additional info:

I will also file an RFE against widgetastic to account for menuAppendTo={() => document.body} as it is a valid patternfly option and can appear in the UI in the future
