Would need python-setuptools_scm for sure if you could create a request for that and block this on that - thanks.

As said in bz2182805, python-setuptools_scm is already in RHEL 9 CRB.

Thanks - build dislikes version 6 as it stands and I did not look hard enough.

Can you provide link to the build (spec + log at least)?  I might have time to look into it during weekend.

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-jira/pull-request/9 is a build - needs some testing

In particular had to move SHA256 which random pages suggest jira supports. You would hope so.
