Describe the issue: - While installing RHEL 9, ssh root login is disabled by default. - In order to enable ssh by root user, follow any of the below steps: 1. Enable "Allow root SSH login with password" flag while setting the root password during the RHEL 9 installation. 2. Post installation, manually set "PermitRootLogin yes" in sshd_config. For example: # echo 'PermitRootLogin yes' >> /etc/ssh/sshd_config.d/01-permitrootlogin.conf # systemctl restart sshd This needs to be include in the installation guide.
