Thanks, the link to CNV-11691 is very valuable.
Are there any constraints on the scheduling of fixing this bug?

@dholler , I don't see this one as a blocker for 4.13.0. But this should be addressed in 4.13.1 if capacity permits.

We can backport the fix to 4.14, as soon as we have the ack that the bug is fixed in 4.15
