Hi, I'm sorry for the late respond. I will branch it asap. From what I can see, the epel8 branch has not been requested, yet. @redhat-bugzilla I'm currently questioning if it is a good idea to branch it as it is in RHEL8 build root. There is no specific approach to solving this issue or if it matters. I'm consulting this with a collage. I actually need docbook5-style-xsl for a 3rd-party package. Regarding RHEL 8 buildroot: Please see bug #2090958 - the same situation also existed for elinks and was clarified there by your colleagues. I'm sorry for the wait, and thank you for your info. Build for EPEL8: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=101159441 Koji: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2023-74508fc5cd I'm not sure whether -15 was a good idea, because now there will be newer NEVRA in EPEL 8 than in CentOS Stream 9 (which breaks possible inplace upgrade paths from RHEL 8 to 9). This is why I suggested to use -5 (like the Koji build in CentOS Stream 8). I unpushed the package and lowered the version. You have a good point about the upgrade path; thank you for the suggestion. |
