The origin of this bug seems to be an soname bump of 
libscotch.so (from the scotch package), which apparently
broke a whole tree of dependant packages.


Besides this, I am having doubts on the correctness of libscotch's soname bump.
libscotch.so.1 -> libscotch.so.7.0.3

WTH?

mmg definitely needs to be rebuilt.
