Update to 1.20.0 (#2190139)
the-new-hotness/release-monitoring.org's scratch build of micropython-1.20.0-1.fc36.src.rpm for rawhide failed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=100446000 Trying to update to the latest 1.20.0 version. make: *** No rule to make target 'axtls'. Stop This was removed here: https://github.com/micropython/micropython/pull/8916 Removing that make command and adding mbedtls-devel in the BuildRequires results in: Error: micropython-lib submodule is not initialized. Run 'make submodules' Adding %make_build -C ports/unix submodules V=1 and a BuildRequires on git (not git-core) results in: fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git make: *** [../../py/mkrules.mk:224: submodules] Error 128 Maybe relevant commit: https://github.com/micropython/micropython/commit/87011f63530f55411843622af8b1bc2dbf98a6f7 Upstream has a large collection of git submodules in https://github.com/micropython/micropython/tree/master/lib Sometimes, the additional sources of micropython need to be updated to match the ones that are needed. Maybe that's the case here as well. Releases retrieved: 1.21.0, 1.22.0-preview Upstream release that is considered latest: 1.22.0-preview Current version/release in rawhide: 1.19.1-8.fc39 URL: http://micropython.org/ Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/ More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Upstream_Release_Monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream. Based on the information from Anitya: https://release-monitoring.org/project/10539/ To change the monitoring settings for the project, please visit: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/micropython Scratch build failed. Details below:
