Description of problem:

gnome-about.desktop is patched/changed in fedora to show "About Fedora". This
should be moved to desktop-menu-patches so people can translate it properly.

Not true.

We don't patch gnome-about.desktop. 
The about-fedora.desktop file is part of fedora-release-notes and people can
translate is just as well as the rest of the release notes.
