Since upgrade (kernel 6.2.9, Gnome 43.4) and related updates (mutter, drivers) when launching applications such as terminal, the launched window fails to receive focus.

This causes keystrokes meant for the new window to go to whichever window previously held focus.

Previously (and for all previous versions) when terminal launched (either initially or launching an additional instance/window) the newly launched window always received focus.

The issue persists with latest round of updates (kernel 6.2.12 etc).

Terminal itself (version 3.46.8) has not been updated since before the issue surfaced.
