Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Update to 10.0.0 (#2198470)

Comment 2 Upstream Release Monitoring 2023-05-10 22:52:26 UTC
the-new-hotness/release-monitoring.org's scratch build of fmt-10.0.0-1.fc38.src.rpm for rawhide failed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=100992883

Comment 4 Vitaly 2023-06-28 07:00:33 UTC
Now we need a fmt9 compatibility package due to Koji breakage:

Error:
Problem 1: package python3-dnf-4.16.1-2.fc39.noarch from build requires dnf-data = 4.16.1-2.fc39, but none of the providers can be installed
  - package dnf-data-4.16.1-2.fc39.noarch from build requires /etc/dnf/dnf.conf, but none of the providers can be installed
  - conflicting requests
  - nothing provides libfmt.so.9()(64bit) needed by libdnf5-5.0.14-1.fc39.ppc64le from build
Problem 2: package python3-dnf-plugins-core-4.4.1-3.fc39.noarch from build requires python3-dnf >= 4.11.0, but none of the providers can be installed
  - package python3-dnf-4.16.1-2.fc39.noarch from build requires dnf-data = 4.16.1-2.fc39, but none of the providers can be installed
  - package dnf-plugins-core-4.4.1-3.fc39.noarch from build requires python3-dnf-plugins-core = 4.4.1-3.fc39, but none of the providers can be installed
(try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages)

I will untag fmt-10.0.0-1.fc39, build fmt9 compat and then tag fmt-10.0.0-1.fc39 again.
