Description Joshua Goins 2023-05-14 00:45:02 UTC
Tokodon has a new QtMultimedia dependency, but isn't a dependency of the package. It's not optional, and Tokodon will fail to start at runtime.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start fresh Fedora 38 install (GNOME)
2. Install Tokodon
3. Try to run Tokodon, which doesn't start.
Actual Results:
Tokodon complains about missing QtMultimedia, which is not typically installed on Fedora GNOME.

Expected Results:
Tokodon to start.

I think the required package is qt5-qtmultimedia.

I'll be fixing this up with the release of 23.04.2.

Resolved by updates in Rawhide to F37.
