The patch that addressed this issue in the st driver has been accepted upstream.

We have no good way to test this change so I am setting OtherQA.

Unfortunately, our application is still running on RHEL7, so it's not easy for us to test.
I will look into the possibility of moving at least the test tier to RHEL9 in the next couple of months, but there is a good chance I won't be able to work on it until sometime next year.

OK. Thanks Jeffrey.  Then I think we are just going to merge this change into RHEL 8.10 and 9.4.  After this I can create a RHEL7 zstream patch for you to test.

Tested by CEE in the CEE lab. 
Our regression tests have not found any issue.
