A segmentation fault was discovered in Yasm's expand_mmac_params() function in nasm/nasm-pp.c file caused by read memory access. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by tricking a user into opening specially crafted file, causing an application to halt or crash, leading to a denial of service.
