This package will be part of RHEL/CentOS, so no need to do this. RHEL8 currently has 1.6.3, which is one minor version behind. Smojver, are you suggesting an update is upcoming on the part of RHEL? If not, I’m happy to co-maintain the package for EPEL and provide the up-to-date version on RHEL8. I'm not suggesting that. What I'm saying is that packages are normally not duplicated in EPEL when they exist in the distro. BTW, you can always spin up newer versions in copr, if you really want them.
