Description of problem:
We've missed a few pstore-related patches. Unfortunately, one of them is important:

"This seems to have missed backporting systemd/systemd@f00c366
which is required for the service to work by default, because the service will fail if the directory doesn't exist. On ostree (and other image based systems) it's expected for /var to start out empty, and to have skeleton directories populated either by tmpfiles.d or by the service itself."

Let's backport the missed patches patches too.
