Description Kevin Degeling 2023-06-12 07:44:45 UTC
Description of problem:
OpenJDK 17.0.7 has been released for General Availability on 18 April 2023. Right now, that version is not yet available in RHEL 9, nor in CentOS Stream 9

Details:

Here Cento's Koji, showing that the latest version of OpenJDK 17 is from February:

Here the release notes, conveniently listed at Adoptium
- https://adoptium.net/en-GB/temurin/release-notes/?version=jdk-17.0.7+7

I'm not sure What the RHEL release cadence dictates for minor versions like these, but it can't be intentional to leave bugs like these in production systems.
