It's been a few months now since 1.6.0 was released. Can we get an update in Fedora please? We plan to release a new version soon, that will be included in Fedora (we have had to wait for some dependencies to release a new version) I've just started doing a bulk update of rust-vmm dependencies that will include virtiofsd 1.7.0. Sorry that it took so long, but the fact that rust-vmm components are so highly-coupled and still providing 0.x versions makes everything much more complicated than it should be. Thank you Sergio. Once you've got all the dependencies updated do you think we'll be able to get 1.7.0 in F38 or will we have to wait for F39? Yes, I'm fairly sure we'll be able to push the changes to F38. New version in testing: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-5167ce8181 The linked update is already stable. |
