Description of problem:
In previous versions of Redhat Ledmon was installed but not started after OS installation. This defect is submitted, because it doesn't work for RHEL 9.1.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install OS.
2. Boot to installed OS
3. Check if  ledmon service is active and running

Expected result:
Ledmon service is active.


Actual result:
Ledmon service is not installed.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I'm going to investigate behavior on RHEL8 and RHEL9.

I wasn't able to reproduce your issue. I have installed a fresh RHEL 9.1.0 server, and ledmon was installed.


[root@localhost ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release 
Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 9.1 (Plow)

[root@localhost ~]# rpm -qa ledmon
ledmon-0.96-4.el9.x86_64

[root@localhost ~]# systemctl status ledmon
○ ledmon.service - Enclosure LED Utilities
     Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/ledmon.service; disabled; vendor preset: disabled)
     Active: inactive (dead)

Thank you very much. Looks like something is wrong with my configuration, have to check that.
Please close that, if something will be still wrong I will reopen.
