Description Direct Docs Feedback 2023-06-23 03:55:37 UTC
Doesn't specify a particular version of RHEL 8 or of the document.
It's important when we do our own documentation that we're able to give clear references to particular versions of vendor documentation.

Thank you for your report.

The RHEL product documentation is always valid for the latest GA version. Now, it means that the RHEL 8 Security hardening content applies to RHEL 8.8, and the RHEL 9 Security hardening document applies to RHEL 9.2. We document the changes between versions in the RHEL Release notes documents. And if there are significant differences in procedure steps, we usually add explicit notes about the differences. Given our capacity and also our publication toolchain, it is not possible to create and maintain the product documentation for every minor release.
