Description Need Real Name 2000-12-12 22:46:53 UTC
The Red Hat 6.0 installation program recognizes the Win 2000 (NTFS)
partition and allow user to assign a lable for the lilo program. However,
the Red Hat 7.0 installation program DOES not recognize the Win 2000
(NTFS) partition, hence does not give the user the ability to setup lilo
during installation. I had to modify the lilo.conf file and rerun lilo.

I have same problem, except that I tried to force lilo to boot Win 2k, and now
all I get is 'LI' at boot.

I had this same problem. I recompiled the kernel, giving suport to the NTFS
file system. After installing the new kernel, LILO gave the options of
Windows 2000 and Linux.

Later releases of Red Hat Linux allow you to boot these and set up booting them
from the installer
