This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 39 development cycle. Changing version to 39. It looks like that the desktop/icon files are also missing. No point in adding AppStream metadata until the proper desktop files are added. (In reply to Daniel Rusek from comment #2) > It looks like that the desktop/icon files are also missing. No point in > adding AppStream metadata until the proper desktop files are added. I was looking at the git repository, looks like upstream removed the desktop file ~9 years ago, I'm updating clusterssh from 4.16 to 4.18 but will not touch this for now. Also I have no plans to play with "AppStream metadata", maybe we can fill a bug with the upstream https://github.com/duncs/clusterssh (In reply to Filipe Rosset from comment #3) > Also I have no plans to play with "AppStream metadata", maybe we can fill a > bug with the upstream https://github.com/duncs/clusterssh There is probably no point in adding AppStream metadata in upstream if they do not have/do not want desktop files. I will prepare a Merge request with desktop files and AppStream metadata for Fedora when I have more time. For now, let's keep this ticket open. :-) (In reply to Daniel Rusek from comment #4) > (In reply to Filipe Rosset from comment #3) > > Also I have no plans to play with "AppStream metadata", maybe we can fill a > > bug with the upstream https://github.com/duncs/clusterssh > > There is probably no point in adding AppStream metadata in upstream if they > do not have/do not want desktop files. > > I will prepare a Merge request with desktop files and AppStream metadata for > Fedora when I have more time. For now, let's keep this ticket open. :-) sure, when you have it's ready we can submit to upstream, it will benefit all other downstream too This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle.
