Yes, the whole point of croc is that it should Just Work, but the version in Fedora is years out of date and so doesn't work if the other end is using another distro.

I created https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/golang-github-schollz-croc/pull-request/2 to update the package. Thanks to the new packaging guidelines, the deps are vendored now, so we're not blocked on package review for the new dependencies anymore.
