I experienced many crashes and freezes, but I couldnât find any traces in the logs or in the reporting application. GNOME would throw me into the console and restart the session. I was surprised to see one report created at 9 PM yesterday, as I was dealing with this issue from 2 PM until 5 AM. The main problem is that when playing YouTube videos on Firefox with hardware decoding enabled, the video drops a large number of frames. However, I am only assuming that this bug report is related to my issues. Of the kernels I have installed, version 6.3.8-200.fc38.x86_64 doesn't have this problem. Newer ones do. The tainting in my kernel seems to come from VirtualBox. For me that is audio devices, hid/security key, and external monitors. From this point if you reboot without unplugging the dock it sometimes will fail by flashing the screen for a bit, then shutting down the screen and all lights including the power light and play a loud descending then ascending 5 or so tone beep code. The machine seems off at this point, but pushing the power button will not turn it on. First, you have to remove the dock cables (I've only tried both), then hold the power button for 5 or so seconds. Then pushing the power button again will boot the machine normally.
