*** Bug 2217475 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Reducing the severity as it's an RFE One direct way to check if a PVC is read only is to write to it, I believe we shouldn't be implementing this on any exporter. There is some work going on in upstream regarding VolumeHealth, but that is not merged yet. https://github.com/ceph/ceph-csi/pull/4125/commits/98835b296005b2b346af71160397f08ae6ff0a3b Won't be able to fix it in 4.15 This is an RFE and based on comment7, moving the bug to 4.16 As mentioned in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2221924#c7 we don't have a way to recognise if a fs is read-only as of yet.
