Description Dennis Burke 2023-07-11 17:56:58 UTC
Description of problem:
Since the release of Fedora 38, tint2 has been broken. It segfaults on start. The good news is that there's a patch which fixes it: https://gitlab.com/nick87720z/tint2/-/issues/4 Should we wait for upstream to fix it officially or cook up a new build with the patch instead?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
tint2-17.1.3-1.fc38

How reproducible:
I had 3 Fedora 38 systems which were affected. I've built tint2 locally on each with the patch, and tint2 works properly now.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. `sudo dnf install tint2`
2. `tint2`

Actual results:
Segfault

Expected results:
tint2 runs
