Description Dennis Schridde 2023-07-12 08:38:19 UTC
Description of problem:
Started computer, auto-login into KDE Plasma, was immediately greeted with the SELinux alert.
SELinux is preventing sddm-helper from 'add_name' accesses on the directory wayland-errors.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests **************************

If you believe that sddm-helper should be allowed add_name access on the wayland-errors directory by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# ausearch -c 'sddm-helper' --raw | audit2allow -M my-sddmhelper
# semodule -X 300 -i my-sddmhelper.pp

What is the path for the wayland-errors directory and what are the permissions?

ls -lZa /path/wayland-errors
