Description fabriciol.castillo 2023-07-12 14:12:28 UTC
I noticed nautilus stopped grabbing shift+delete shortcut for deleting permanently. Checked in gnome-settings and there are no other programs using the shortcut. Also, I tried using the delete key in the keypad and the shortcut works, but not with the regular one.
I updated my system to date and reinstalled nautilus and all packages that were removed together with nautilus by dnf. I checked on /etc/ /usr/share, .local and .config directorys for config files with no success.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Nautilus
2. Select a file or folder
3. Press shift, hold and press delete (key below insert and above arrow keys)
Actual Results:
Item is just highlighted with a blue border.

Expected Results:
After key combination, a prompt for deleting permanently shows up.

Pressing the key combination with the delete key found in the . (dot) key in the keypad performs the action that the keybinding with the normal delete key should perform.

Sorry about this. But found out disabling extensions returned the normal behavior. I'm closing the issue. Sorry about that.
