Description Ding-Yi Chen 2023-07-14 00:22:44 UTC
Description of problem:

RHDS-11.7 is release, thus it is expected to see 11.7 packages in repo dirsrv-11-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms

However, so far only 11.6 and earlier packages are shown.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
dirsrv-11-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure we only use repo dirsrv-11-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms, not dirsrv-11.7-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms

subscription-manager repos --disable dirsrv-11.7-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms  --disable dirsrv-11.6-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms --enable dirsrv-11-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms

2. Run `yum module repoquery redhat-ds| grep 389-ds

Actual results:
~~~
...
389-ds-base-1.4.3.31-11.module+el8dsrv+17815+4f95348d.x86_64
389-ds-base-1.4.3.31-6.module+el8dsrv+16980+c4b9cd33.x86_64
~~~

The 11.7 packages, e.g. 389-ds-base-1.4.3.34..., are not shown.

Expected results:

The 11.7 packages shows

Additional info:

Workaround: explicitly enable the 11.7 repo like:

subscription-manager repos --enable  dirsrv-11.7-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms

Unfortunately the only solution here without having to do mass rework will be to have the customers switch to different versioned repos. The PVs 11.6+ all align to those separate repos and I'm not sure if we can add the continuous repo to those configurations.

Let me loop in Michal Haluza to see if what his thoughts are here.
