Description Zdenek Kabelac 2023-07-14 15:28:06 UTC
Description of problem:

Just make VDO on pair with ThinPools - and basically add the equal support for using VDO volumes within shared VolumeGroups with lvmlockd.

Comment 2 Andrew Price 2023-07-19 08:58:51 UTC
Will this enable gfs2 on vdo volumes (active/active)?

Comment 3 David Teigland 2023-07-19 16:59:34 UTC
This is to allow vdo LVs to be used in shared volume groups, but like most dm targets it can only be active on one host.

Comment 4 Andrew Price 2023-07-20 09:56:02 UTC
Ok thanks, that's something we should be explicit about in the docs.
