Description Adam Williamson 2023-07-18 22:04:56 UTC
This is a downstream report of https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259320 , filed for openQA and blocker/FE tracking. As reported there, the problem is that with webkitgtk 2.41.6, in virtual machines, webkitgtk-based apps (including Yelp and Epiphany) do not display any content.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot a recent Fedora Workstation Rawhide nightly in a VM (possibly only with 3D passthrough disabled; haven't tested)
2. Try and run Yelp and view a help page, or Epiphany and view a web page
Actual Results:
It shows only a blank rectangle

Expected Results:
It should show the expected content

Fix for this is posted, I tested it, it works, will backport it so we have less breakage in Rawhide tomorrow (hopefully).

Comment 3 Fedora Release Engineering 2023-08-16 08:07:59 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 39 development cycle.
Changing version to 39.
