Description mithun kalyat 2023-07-19 15:30:11 UTC
Satellite hostname change script still refers to the older host registration method.

--------------
There were errors detected during install.
Please address the errors and re-run the installer to ensure the system is properly configured.
Failing to do so is likely to result in broken functionality.

The full log is at /var/log/foreman-installer/satellite.log
Package versions are being locked.

Something went wrong with the Satellite installer.
Please check the above output and the corresponding logs.

Once the issue is resolved you may complete the hostname change by running: 'satellite-installer --scenario satellite'
  and completing the following steps:

You will have to install the new bootstrap rpm and reregister all clients and Capsules with subscription-manager
(update organization and environment arguments appropriately):

  yum remove -y katello-ca-consumer*
  rpm -Uvh http://satellite.example.com/pub/katello-ca-consumer-latest.noarch.rpm
  subscription-manager register --org="Default_Organization" --environment="Library" --force

Then reattach subscriptions to the client(s) and run:

  subscription-manager refresh
  yum repolist
----------------

It should be updated with the latest global registration instructions using curl command.
