Description Benny Powers 2023-07-23 08:19:02 UTC
Upgrading from 6.3.12 to 6.4.4 caused the bluetooth module in my iMac15,1 to not be recognized.

Comment 2 Benny Powers 2023-07-29 17:58:05 UTC
The problem still exists with kernel 6.4.6

Comment 3 Benny Powers 2023-08-03 14:15:19 UTC
This no longer appears to be the case with kernel 6.4.7

Comment 4 vh1988 2023-08-03 14:25:04 UTC
I confirm that it is fixed on 6.4.7. Until today I was keeping using 6.3.12 tree. Now, no problems after upgrade to 6.4.7.

I think that this commit fixed the issue:
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/drivers/bluetooth/btusb.c?h=v6.4.7&id=bb9c26f32e0c5d3d7e0433f51b5726f3ea6f77c1
