Description Yury Konovalov 2007-01-15 08:52:36 UTC
IBM's POWER platform Infiniband HCA driver (ehca) refuses to load. Do I need to
load some special driver before ehca?

---------

How reproducible: always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. modprobe ehca

Actual results:
eHCA Infiniband Device Driver (Rel.: SVNEHCA_0015)

PU0003 EHCA_ERR:hipz_h_query_hca response_block=c0000001dcdd5680 not page aligned

PU0003 EHCA_ERR:ehca_sense_attributes Cannot query device properties.
h_ret=fffffffffffffffc

PU0003 EHCA_ERR:ehca_probe Cannot sense eHCA attributes.

ehca: probe of .001.DPM1PVW-P1-C21 failed with error -22

Expected results:

This should have been fixed with the RHEL5.1 kernel update. If it wasn't, then
please re-open the bug.
