No. This is specifically for Edge. It looks like the error message was left off.

The other bug is resolved and allows image builder to make custom partitions for other types, but not edge.

@amurdaca Is there a reason why we specifically disabled custom partitions for the edge images? All the partitioning code in Image Builder should work for edge raw images just fine. Maybe we can enable it only for /var for now.
